Privacy policy
The short version: you can use this site without giving us any personal information. We don't use cookies or advertising, and the visitor statistics we keep are anonymous.
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
This policy explains what information Canada Drive Test Routes ("we", "us") handles when you visit canadadrivetestroutes.com, and how we use it.
Information we don't collect
- No accounts. You don't need to sign up or log in to use any part of the site.
- No cookies. The site doesn't set cookies.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking. We don't use advertising, social media or other third-party scripts, and we don't follow you around other websites. The site loads its pages, images and code only from our own website.
- Your searches stay on your device. When you use the search box, your browser downloads our list of test centres and searches it on your device. What you type isn't sent to us.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our web hosting provider automatically keeps basic technical records when pages are requested. These records include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. They're used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems, and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes. We don't use them to identify you or build a profile of you.
Visitor statistics
To understand which pages are useful and what to improve, we count visits using Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It records things like the page viewed, the referring website, your browser and device type, and your country. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store your IP address, and doesn't identify you or follow you across other websites. We only look at the totals, such as how many people visited a page, and we never sell this information or use it for advertising.
If you email us
If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to read and respond to you, and to check and fix any problem you report. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or rent your information. We keep messages only as long as needed to deal with them.
Please don't send your driver's licence number, booking confirmation, date of birth or ID documents. We don't need them.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to official government and testing-body websites, and to Google Maps for directions to a centre. When you follow those links, you're subject to those websites' own privacy policies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for how they handle your information.
Children and young drivers
Many learner drivers are teenagers. Because we don't collect personal information through the site, there's nothing a young visitor needs to share to use it. If you're under 18 and want to contact us, please ask a parent or guardian first.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice, the only personal information we might hold is an email you've sent us. To make a request, email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information (for example, by adding a newsletter or a contact form), we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
