It is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tollgate Road West has a railway level crossing (the Kingston Subdivision) only a few hundred metres from the centre, near Pitt Street, so practice slowing, looking both ways and keeping clear of the tracks. The traffic lights at Pitt and Tollgate are close by too, and Brookdale Avenue, a main road with signals at Tollgate, is to the west. Highway 401 runs just north, with ramps signed for Cornwall, Montreal and Ottawa, so it is worth practicing merges if you are taking a G test. Several schools, including Sacred Heart Catholic School, are within a kilometre.
