Local tips
The Burlington DriveTest office is Unit 2 in the Burlington Power Centre at 1250 Brant Street, the big retail plaza with the Cineplex near Brant Street and North Service Road. Give yourself time to find the unit, because the plaza is large and has many separate customer parking lots. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once you leave the lot you are close to busy roads. Brant Street is a five-lane, 60 km/h arterial, and the QEW and Highway 403 interchange sits right beside the plaza, with Highway 407 ramps close by. That means you should be comfortable with lane changes, signalized left turns and reading ramp signs before test day. Practice around the lights at Brant and North Service Road and at Brant and Mount Forest Drive. If you need a different date, Oakville and Hamilton also have DriveTest centres.
